Mijas, April 13, 2021.- Fundación CLC World is once again supporting Cudeca’s charity walk, which this year is known as WalkaHome. Held online next Sunday, May 23, from 9 am to 2pm, the walk’s objective is to raise funds to cover the organisation’s the day-to-day running costs.

Cudeca’s Head of Communication, Ángel Krebbers, said any person who is interested can register for €4 (number) or €8 (number and shirt) through the portal or the foundation’s website.

Likewise, an extra donation can be made through the same registration to help Cudeca continue caring for those at the end of their life. “The participants can plan the activity that best suits their physical condition at home or in a public space whilst respecting the prevention and hygiene measures against COVID. The activity will have neither time nor distance, only fun and the exercise that everyone wants together with the family, as a team, with their club or gym, with their pet or alone.”

Fundación CLC World ambassador, Hernán Lara, highlighted the constant commitment of the entity with Cudeca. “Fundación CLC World Foundation has always been attentive to the needs of this group which carries out essential work for cancer patients and their families; so we try to be by their side. We’re collaborating once again with this walk, which in this edition will be a little different due to the circumstances, but it will surely be as successful as the Sunflower Effect was.”

The Cudeca Foundation helps, through its assistance teams made up of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers and physiotherapists, people with cancer and other advanced diseases both in their homes and in the Hospitaliaation Unit located in Benalmádena. At the same time, it offers support to their relatives.

All care is totally free. Therefore, they call on the community to raise funds so they can continue caring for people who need, today more than ever, end-of-life care.
