Mijas, 12 august 2019.- Fundación CLC World has donated 12 sets of IT equipment to La Asociación Mercader, Casa Ronald McDonald, AFA Fuengirola-Mijas, Asociación Mijitas and AMPA Monte Mijas.
“We have many computers in good condition that we are recycling and have received a number of calls for assistance. We were pleased to be able to help and believe the equipment can be of great help to these associations,” said Juan Miguel Marcos, Fundación CLC World President.
La Asociación Mercader de Malaga assists those who have suffered from a stroke or similar, in addition to raising awareness in society of the problems generated by this disease in the family environment.
Casa Ronald McDonald Málaga helps families who have hospitalised children with serious health problems and offers them “an oasis” inside the hospital, so that they do not worry about the logistics of livig away from home and can focus on their child’s recovery.
AFA Fuengirola-Mijas Costa was created to provide the greatest possible well-being to all families and patients affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias, offering psychological and social support to both groups.
The Mijitas Association has received six complete computers that they need to carry out their digital literacy programmes. “It’s just what we need as it is a great help for the association to carry out workshops and digital courses, so that, above all, older women lose their fear. It will help us with digital literacy,”said Patricia Márquez, association secretary.
Ampa Monte Mijas has received a computer to perform its tasks in the school. “This is great, because we only had one computer on which to store our files, our activities and photos,” said José Miguel Fernández, president of Ampa Monte Mijas.
Initiatives such as this highlight the firm and continuous commitment of Fundación CLC World to respond to local social demands.
