Mijas, 4th April 2019.- Fundación CLC World’s continuing collaboration with Down Tenerife saw a donation of €8,350 recently.

The funds raised aim to improve the quality of life for people with Down Syndrome, through support programmes that meet their needs and those of their families.

Down Tenerife’s representatives showed their gratitude to the Foundation for their support over the last three years in which CLC World team members have always been involved.

To celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, Fundación CLC World carried out a fundraising campaign for Down Tenerife. CLC World’s three Tenerife resorts – CLC Paradise, CLC Sunningdale Village and CLC Monterey – held numerous activities for guests alongside our entertainment troupe Team Marina, with a grand sum of €4,173 raised. Fundación CLC World had pledged to match the amount resulting in the magnificent figure of €8,350 going to the Tenerife charity.

CLC World team members joined the unpaired socks operation to raise awareness and stand up for inclusion on the World Down Syndrome Day.

As well as games around the pool, food tastings, dances and more, there was a raffle which was a great success thanks to the support of local companies who donated prizes.
