Mijas, 25th May 2018 The El Pimpi Foundation’s social welfare project, ‘Soles de Málaga’ (Suns of Málaga) raised a total of €126,231 which was due to be distributed among 38 social initiatives in the city. The event helped to mobilise the involvement of every district in Málaga, and comprised 332 companies, 640 artists and more than 560 volunteers.
Fundación CLC World collaborated as one of the sponsors of this social action campaign, in addition to participating with more than 50 volunteers from CLC World. They once again demonstrated their altruism and support for the numerous causes that Fundación CLC World has been involved in.
‘Soles de Málaga’ was conceived several months earlier with three main objectives: raising awareness of those in Málaga society whose needs are most acute, fostering the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that carry out awareness campaigns and obtaining sufficient funds to promote the 11 NGOs selected for financial support which will then enable their projects to go ahead.
To help achieve these goals, several initiatives were actioned, culminating in the city-wide celebration, ‘Soles de Málaga’.
